My plans keep me awake sometimes, and sometimes it's overthinking personal stuff I think.  I literally go over my plans/to do list to achieve my goals numerous times throughout the hour and its hard to shut it off when I'm suppose to.

Tips to sleep better at night:

turn off tv/computer/cell phone
avoid daytime naps
turn around clocks to avoid looking at time
try a leg pillow for back pain
use your pillow to support your neck in a natural position, not flat
exercise and cut caffeine
seal your mattress

I get excited about what I enjoy doing, like playing brain games or research on iMessaging.

I think when you getting old, you don't sleep much as you are young.  I don't have that problem of sleeping.  If I felt asleep it will be hard to wake me up.

I used to be an excellent sleeper, but as I grow older and some major life events happened the last several years it has sure changed.  Now my mind won't turn off sometimes.  A retirement and physical condition I didn't expect has had fall-out.

I have also learned that unless I already know I am just not going to sleep at night, don't get on my computer and work Fusion Cash or the two other sites I am on.  I also getting off the computer about an hour two before I want to sleep.

Yeah Fusion Cash...lol...not good to be on electronics before bedtime because it does stimulate the brain...I give all my problems to God so I don't worry over things...he has my back but I have some medical issues as well so I do have to take clonazepam or muscle relaxer sometimes to sleep...

I  have gone back to working nights, coffee keeps me up, so I do not drink it if I want to fall asleep, I try to stay up on my off nights, so I can get on Cash fusion, and catch the faster wifi   8)

As for sleeping with your spouse
