It's cold here in Kentucky as well.  We've had close to a foot of snow and ice on the ground now for almost a week.  Schools and the local university have been closed all week and a lot of business have closed because of the weather.  We're supposed to warm up into the 40's Saturday and get LOADS of rain.  I'm hoping that will clean up the snow so I can finally get out of the house and to town!

I get a kick out of Floridians talking about the cold.... I remember when our college swim team went on a training trip down to Ft. Lauderdale during winter break (between Xmas and New Year's) when the temperatures didn't get above mid-60s. Coming from the -20s of MN, the 80-degree difference felt HOT! So while we were swimming at the Hall of Fame outdoor pool and tanning on the beach after practice, we kept seeing the native Floridians giving us strange looks while they huddled under their parkas. So while Miami is seeing temps as low as the low 40s this week, MN has some places seeing temps in the low 40s too -- low 40s below zero, that is Have fun braving the cold!

Yeah I know it is bad, here in VA it is cold and I cannot wait for Spring to get here.  I heard someone making a joke on TV about Massachusetts having gotten an arrest warrant for Elsa from Arabelle to see if they can make  her stop the cold weather, specially up there where the snow keeps on coming

We're cold over in Colorado right now. We've had nothing but snow for the past few days. I know a lot of the schools were closed today because of the roads.

COLD is a relative word~totally understand that 20 feel FREEZING to you, but right about now that would feel like a heat wavy!

Yeah, it's finally being actually cold around here too Dropped snow a week ago, and keeping it icy so it sticks.
But it's not too bad. I keep outdoor animals, and I judge how bad it is based on how hard it is to knock the ice outta the water or open metal cages. So only three or four *really* bad days I'd say.
And the upcoming week is 30-40s so getting better.
Not looking forward to the slush my yard will be once the snow melts though xP

we had one sort of warm day on Sunday it got up to 39 degrees in Mass. This of course melted some of the snow and caused some flooding in my house not fun!
Right now we are at 15 degreees heading for -5 tomorrow morning and wind chills of negative 30.
This is getting very old I want Spring Now!!!

I can't believe that it is cold in Florida. It just sleeted here in Dallas. It was nasty for driving, but not that cold. I hated to scrape ice off my windshield when I left work. But, you do what you have to do.  I know that this will not last. By the weekend it should be better. The ice will be gone after tomorrow. We do not have to suffer with car preparation for more than 2 days. Much better than months of that stuff. BMaston12
