I stop using ff because there's just too many ads popping up on the screen.

I have both Firefox and Chrome. I prefer Firefox because it seems to be more user friendly, more compatible and easier to save everything. I want to like Chrome because it is simple and faster but I always seem to have difficulty having more than two tabs open at a time . That's especially a problem when you have more than one using flash at a time

I agree with everything you said here.

I do think Firefox is more user-friendly, it works with everything and there are so many ways to customize it to serve you better than other browsers.  While I use about four or five different browsers in a single day, Firefox is always the one that I come back to and use the most.  I have it set up with AdBlockerPlus so I don't have any problems with advertisements annoying me.  That can sometimes be problematic if you're working sites like Swagbucks, GiftHulk and Fusion Cash--sites where having the ads is part of the deal.  For these sites, I use either Chrome or IE.

Chrome has a nice feel to it and it does run fast as long as you have just one tab open.  I find as well that getting more than a couple of tabs open starts to make it sluggish and eventually it will become non-responsive.  Flash is evil in every way and nothing will cause problems quicker than flash.  I try to avoid Flash at all costs but sometimes that's not possible.  I just don't feel Chrome is as easy to use and as easy to "make my own" as Firefox.

My love for Firefox isn't to say I haven't had my fair share of problems with it.  I recently rolled back to 33 from 35 because I couldn't get 35 to stop crashing and freezing my desktop up completely.  I had to shut it off at the power button to regain control.  After a week and a half of trying every troubleshooting method known to man I eventually uninstalled 35 and went back to 33 and I've not had any trouble on the desktop since.  Curiously, the freezing always happened on sites that were heavy on Flash.  Again, flash is evil!  lol

I also really love Sea Monkey.  It's basically a stripped down version of Firefox.  It's made by Mozilla as well.  It doesn't update as often as Firefox (frequent updates are a good thing!!) but Mozilla keeps up with the program very well, I think.  When all other browsers fail me, Sea Monkey never does.  In all the many years I've been using Sea Monkey, I can count on one hand how many times it has crashed on me.

Just install AdBlockerPlus from the Mozilla add-on's site.  Takes care of 99% of them and you can configure ABP to block the ads that it doesn't catch right off the bat.

Firefox lost me at 2012... When the crashes are constant due to it being incompatible with the flash player.. Switch to Google Chrome and I don't have any problems with.. I will try Firefox again, if Google Chrome starts crashing

I use Firefox the most, although occasionally, I'll use Chrome. I used to like Firefox better than Chrome but every now and then it'll freeze up on me, so it's a toss-up.

Firefox is my favorite. I used Chrome for a little while a few years back but started having problems.

Firefox eats up a lot of system memory to be really useful & so does IE. Both browsers in my opinion have taking a huge step back in evolution on the net

I use Firefox most of the time, especially if I am reading RSS feeds. I like the Live Bookmarks they have built in to make it simple to keep track of all my feeds.

I use Firefox just because I've used it for years and don't want to make the transition. I really wish it was less sloppy and worked better sometimes
