With a jackpot like that I had to buy a ticket. Still that is more money than I could wrap my head around!

Yes, my hubby and I bought just 5 tickets yesterday. Just enough to have some skin in the game, but not enough to really win anything. The way to go is to go in with a whole bunch of people and buy a lot of tickets, agreeing to share all the winnings. But we don't have time between now and the Powerball drawing to try to get a group together.

So if you win metsrock69 you will give it all back and only keep 1 million? lol.  With that much money I would for sure never have to work again. And no, I would not "invest" any of it.  Wouldn't "invest" in stocks or something where I could lose it no matter how much I had.

I would not give it back but I would want to share it with other winners. also I would invest in real estate. that is a good investment

i bought my ticket and now found out that the jackpot is 500 million. would be nice to win.

I would be happy with $450,000 or even $45,000. Actually I would be happy with an extra $450 to take a vacation with.

I've actually been winning on scratch offs lately so maybe I'll take a chance on this.

Yep, I played a few numbers today, but I try to play every week, not just this history making jackpot.
