Groundhog Day

I like how our local radio station came back from commercial breaks by quoting the line from the movie Groundhog Day where the radio announcers in the movie kept repeating the line when Bill Murray woke up each day. I thought that was a clever way of celebrating the day without actually talking about it.

For us in the South, he did not see his shadow, so early spring for us.

This event means nothing...lol...but nonetheless, he saw his shadow, so 6 more weeks of winter apparently.

It will be interesting to see if he does or does not see his shadow.  Personally, I don't think he will.

I don't really understand where ground hog day came from it makes no sense at all to me but i guess its a fun little thing everyone seems to get involved in.

I didn't even know it was Groundhog day until I got home the Groundhog Day the movie was on.  I think we have cold days ahead.
