We shop at Lowe's and we also buy Whirlpool because they are the best. we had a washer that lasted 14 years. And the one we have now is 3 years old. We also have a whirlpool Refrigerator 2 years old and a whirlpool dishwasher that is 14 years old. They make the best products.

I ususally spend some time searching the internet for the best deals on the best appliances however I have to say, I usually end up buying from Lowes. This is partly because they deliver for free, they have a good selection of a whole range of appliances right from the totally reasonably priced to top of the range, there's no heavy selling techniques going on by the sales associates and they usually have items in stock.

Brands are a matter of opinion.  I know people who hate whirlpool.  I also know people who hate Roper, say it is trash, but I personally have Roper and it works great.  You can get a lemon in anything.

I purchased a LG washer from Lowes last year, & got a great deal PLUS money back from the city for switching to an energy efficient appliance.    It's my first LG, besides a phone, that I've purchased & so far so good.

I also shop for appliances at Home Depot.  Mainly because I have CC from there & get a percentage off & no interest if I use them, & they seem to have good deals & great customer service.
