shirts with words on them
« on: January 05, 2015, 07:55:03 am »
some people like to express themselves with t shirts that have words on them.
The words may be crass or offensive, revealing that person's battles or interests.
Myself, I like plain colors, stripes, and prints.

I prefer shirts with no wording most of the time too.

But I also do like to wear shirts that support our kids' school and sport events.

I do like to make a statement. T-shirts are a goodway to do that. However, nothing says style like a tie-dye t-shirt. I love color! Pictures also make a wonderfulstatement without saying a word.BMaston12

I've noticed that some T's with words on them have the words placed such that it crosses the middle of a woman's chest, thereby drawing attention to it... Those are the types that I don't care for. I find that too crass (esp. when the message is also about sex or a woman's body).

I like some of the funny or a bit more sarcastic t-shirts.  I love a good laugh.  As far as wearing t-shirts, I think I own maybe 4 or 5.  I normally wear tank tops in the summer because it's just too hot here for a t-shirt.

I'm with you.  It is sometimes difficult to read what is written on the shirt and as you say, it is sometimes offensive.  Colors, stripes are my choices too.

I won't wear any that are offensive, or sarcastic. But I do wear some with club member on them, and I do like those with small scenes of animals on them or maybe a place that I have been.

I prefer solid colors as well, but my son loves the shirts with prints on them.  He never gets anything vulgar but he likes the funny ones.

I always read what's written on someone's shirt. Sometimes they're funny, which I appreciate.  :)

However, sometimes . . . . like I was standing behind a motorcycle guy today who had on a leather jacket with some of the most offensive things I've ever seen or heard. That is totally uncalled for in a public setting. Is my old age showing or is it my moral sensibilities?  :angel11:

I don't wear shirts or T-shirts with any messages on them.If I have something to say,I don't need a shirt to say it for me.I also don't like shirts with large, conspicuous brand names on them.I don't think I should have to pay to wear someone else's advertising.

They don't have to be offensive. I like seeing positive sayings on t shirts.

I agree with you, sometime what they print on them has a double meaning that's not good.
