My perfect getaway would be a trip to an area where you could stay on the cheap with lots of things to see and do from a comfortable home base...like a cabin where I could eat in or trip to town for a special meal.  We love to see historic stuff and love being near the water - ocean or lake - either is fine with us.  Peace and quiet or a little excitement if we want it.

At the moment, somewhere that isn't too cold and requires little to no maintenance to function at the location. I wouldn't mind right now a beach resort or maybe a cruise.  I'm so tired from work I wouldn't mind even a cruise with extra days out in sea.

a log cabin out in the middle of the woods with a beautiful lake in the background.  i love nature and would much rather live in the middle of no where then in the city where i currently live.

There's a unique place that I always enjoy in the Jamaica, Hollywell. The temperature is not too hot not too cold but just right. View is amazing, air is clean, no cars needed just bikes.
