I'm thinking of just staying home this year and either just go to bed before midnight or watch it on television and count down.  If the latter, I'm doing this solo as my family has not been inclined in the past to participate with me.

If I am off work by that time which I think I will be then my husband and I will watch the countdown. Thats about it. Neither one of us really drink or go out much.

Spending a quiet evening with my husband.  Last year we brought in our favorite Mexican food for a treat.  Neither of us usually drinks but we might have a sip of something just to toast the new year. I'll probably do what I do most evenings - read or work or do some hand stitching and listen to music.  He'll probably read.  I'm a night owl but it will be a challenge to keep him up until midnight.

we will be spending it at home with our children.  we never go out to the bars not our type of thing.  never quite understood the whole getting drunk thing.

Although I've said I don't want to do anything for New Years Eve, I'll probably wind up with a few drinks dinner first, and at a crowded casino.

I'm working New Year's Day, so I wouldn't be a bit surprised if I was in Dreamland by midnight tomorrow night.

I'll be working. I work super early on New Year's Day too, so I probably won't be doing anything. :(

I don't have any big plans for new years eve.  I like watching tv in bed but most of the time I fall asleep before the ball drops!! :peace: :snowflake: :snowflake:

Well it's now New Years Day and I did exactly what I expected to do .. stay home and hang out with the hubby.  Unfortunately we were both tired and slept through midnight ... Oh well .. there is always next year .. lol
