I'm trying to decide do I wanna go out. Do you like to go out or stay in for New Years and if you are going out what's your plans?

Usually we stay in on New Years eve.  We both like small social gatherings and New Years parties tend to end up as very large affairs with too many people drinking too much.  Also, approaching 60 means that we have a hard time staying up til midnight...LOL!!  ;)

My family always speeds it with our church. We have a service to praise and thank God for what he has done for us this year and make goals for the coming year. After the service the whole church eats and play games and we have a wonderful time.

For New Year's Eve I am lucky if I stay awake until midnight. My kids will usually wake me up at 11:30 so I can share in the moment. On New Year's Day we will get up and watch the rose parade and then watch the college football games in the afternoon.

During the day we may go to town but usually I stay home.  I don't have the money to shop.  As for that night and NYE night I stay home and off the roads unless I have to work.  And this year I am not going to be working either day.

New years day is not usually a big day for me. The 1 thing I am hoping to do is to sleep till 7 am! I would like to relax a little and I might go out to lunch with some friends.I hope 2015 is much better then 2014. I also with everyone good health and happiness in 2015! :peace: :snowflake: :snowflake: :snowflake:

We haven't done anything special for New Years in a very long time.  We just stay home, watch the ball drop on TV and then go to bed.  There's usually quite a bit of fireworks going off in our neighborhood and I sometimes will step out to watch.

It has been so many years that I went out for New Years, it seems like there is so many drunks on the road anymore it is not safe and at 71 I just can't see wasting my time. I started not celebrating new years when my mother passed and   have now lost so many of my family including my children I prefer to just stay home and go to bed at the regular time. But do wish all of you a Happy New Year and be safe.

We stay home this year.  My family just went to Vietnam on November so we will not go anywhere on New Year.
