Gun control laws don't stop killings or crime. They only take guns away from law-abiding citizens, who then can't protect themselves from the gun-carrying criminals. Criminals don't care about laws. That's why they are criminals.

According to data collected in 2007 by the Small Arms Survey, while the US has more guns per capita then any other country, it ranks 28th in firearm murder rates. This is after study biases due to the way some countries classify and report either their firearm murders or gun ownership.

Also, look at Chicago. It has some of the strictest gun control laws in the country AND one of the highest gun-related murder and crime rates in the country. Gun control laws only help the criminals.

By watching the recent news, I would say no since although gun control laws have been passed into law in my state, I see people using guns killing people when I was watching the news recently.  I don't think it will make us any safer like it should.

I dont think so because the ones commiting the crimes will still find a means to get them and do all the bad stuff with them.

The answer is a very clear NO! Just look at the tragedy in Paris, where they have strict gun control for the citizens. It sure didn't stop the bad guys!

Nope, killers always find a way to kill. It may reduce the number of accidental gun related deaths, but that is different than murder. People will use bats, knives, etc. to get the job done if that is what they are inclined to do. Humans can be truly awful.
