Passwords

Do you memorize your passwords you use at home and or  work or do you write them down. I have to right my codes down, but they are written down in code as well, info is missing, but I know what it is.

I can remember most of my passwords. Some I have written/typed with additional or less characters.

What I usually do is keep the same password for everything. As long as no one knows it or you give it to someone you should be ok.

When choosing a password try a special number or a special name; something would never forget.

I invested in a little program called Roboform to keep all of my passwords.

I have a few passwords memorized but the majority of them I have written down on paper as it's starting to be too many passwords to keep track of.

I try to use the same passwords or a close version.  I use Google Crome on my work computer and Norton's on my home computer.  Both programs are good about remembering my passwords.
Have a wonderful day!

Some of them. Some I write down because I can't remember all of them.Everybody wants one. It is hard unless you use the same 1 for everything. That may not be safe in some cases.

I used to remember all my passwords as I only had a few of them at the time. Since all the sites I visit make me keep changing the passwords and making them so different, I can't possibly remember them all.  ???

So now I have to write the passwords down and then look them up before I log in. So aggravating!  :confused1:

I remember most of mine.... I try to have a few base passwords that I just modify a little based on what site it is for (eg usually my base pw + a few letters reminding me of the site). The only site that I have to write down is for my hotmail account. MS has this "wonderful" security mechanism in which you are not allowed to reuse the same password. Ever. Even after 5 years! Truly annoying. Usually my computer / the site remembered me so I never needed to log in. But then I once had to log in (through my phone) and forgot my pw for that account, and it started going downhill from there. Now it seems like every time I go to the site, I have to log in (it no longer remembers me) and because I've changed the PW so much, I can no longer use my trick, so I've just resorted to writing it down.
