Pearl Harbor Remembered
« on: December 07, 2014, 04:34:41 am »
On this day in 1941, the worst attack on American soil happened.  I am watching a documentary on TV about it right now.  It happened a little before 8:00 a.m. that morning about the same time it is now.  I saw Pearl Harbor back in September.  It seems so tranquil now compared to that infamous day.  We have fewer and fewer survivors of the attack as the years tick by.
Have a wonderful day!

I remember i was a sophomore in HS in 1966 and the principal came on the PA system saying it was the 25 yr anniversary of PH!!!

Now it is 73 years.Amazing where the time went.

9/11 has made many forget PH!!Either or 2 very bad attacks on our homeland but a sign of the times...thats for sure!!

I remember visiting the USS Arizona when I went to Hawaii.  You can still see the oil on the water and the eerie feeling I got while there was phenomenal.  I literally could feel every soul that died there that day.  I'll never forget that feeling.
