Is it me, or do some of the tasks not work?

My favorite tasks to do are the .5-.6 cent tasks that ask you to search websites and answer a question about them. They are usually entitled "Find business online", "Find links", "See a couple of websites" and the like. Anyway, what I mean by the malfunctioning of these tasks is the following example:

What zip code is the business located? I am clearly on the website specified and I type in the zip code exactly as seen and it is incorrect. WTH?! Or What is the first word in the first paragraph? I type the answer as I see it, and it is incorrect. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Sometimes I think these tasks are meant to confuse us or frustrate us...so I take them as they come, and ignore the ones that gives trouble...

I like the same kind of Tasks, and do run in to the same problems as you.  If you still want to get credited for those tasks, here's what I do.  I will take a screen shot of the page where the word or the zip code or the last 4 digits of the phone number are obviously correct and the Task won't accept it.  I will fill out a Crowd Flower ticket telling them it's a "Broken Job," explain the problem, then attach the screen shot to the ticket.  I almost always get credited for these Tasks because Crowd Flower appreciates it when people get back to them, letting them know that there's something wrong with the Task.

Unfortunately, many of those are broken.  I suggest the financial tasks for 5 and 6 cents. A few are broken but most are okay. Write down the numbers of the broken ones so you don't do them again and file a help ticket so you can get paid.

That's a good mind set to have across the board:  take what works and ignore the rest.  I know from my personal experience that I have to do that when attempting to complete surveys.

some are broken but most aren't... I also send in a support ticket or see if others on CF are having same problem or have a solution
