Thanksgiving has crept up on me. I'm getting everything in order now and making sure we don't forget a dish.

I can't believe it is time already but it is my favorite holiday.

No I'm not ready yet but hope to start preparing for Thanksgiving this week.  Looking forward to seeing family and friends.

Kind of lol - I have to go get the ingredients for sweet potato casserole and green bean casserole because that is what we are contributing to the Thanksgiving feast my sister-in-law invited my sons and I to go to - excited because since m hubby died it just isn't the same for the three of us to be alone.

Yup. Finished up my food shopping yesterday. Well sort of. I still need to get celery and onion but I will wait until this weekend to get it..

Almost all done, just have to buy celery, onions, and fresh cranberries.  I can get those this week.

i still have a few things to get..gotta get some cornmeal for dressing and items to make an ooey gooey cake(cream cheese,cake mix)got the butter...lol..usually make 2 desserts,but i think i may just make a bigger gooey cake this year..kids and everyone likes it

NOt yet. I do have yams on my list for what to make for the feast.I have found that after trying all different kinds of recipes, the best one liked is the simplest. Brown sugar, butter and marshmellows on top. It is making my mouth water thinking about it. Bon Appetit. BMaston12

boy it crept up fast this year .. I never cook as I usually work in the morning and go to my sister's after work.
