Lots and Lots of cheese. Make it good and gooey. Sometimes I do like a chopped up hot dog in it.

I put hot dogs in mine, but I must try the bacon bits, I never thought to do that

At our work's cafeteria, they sometimes have a Mac & Cheese bar where you can get up to 3 veggies, a choice of protein, a choice of pasta, and a choice of cheese to use. When they have this, I tend to make my own "Cajun" mac & cheese... I'll add zucchini, broccoli, and garlic for my veggies (I'd add onion but they usually don't sweat the veggies enough and I'd just get bad heartburn). Then have a smoked sausage as my protein, cheddar as my cheese, and penne as my pasta. They also add in some Cajun seasoning, and it comes out spicy good!

When I make my own Macaroni & Cheese, I don't add anything extra, except for a nicely browned topping of bread crumbs. But I'll always remember the delicious Lobster Mac & Cheese I had at a friend's wedding!

I like plain old macaroni and cheese.  Nothing extra added.  I like the box Kraft Macaroni and Cheese the best.  I love their cheese sauce.  :silly:

We love mac and cheese. Going to have some homemade mac and cheese for Thanksgiving. May add some crumbled bacon but other than that I mainly add extra cheese.
