MTV Where is the music?

I remember  watching MTV when I was younger and it was videos ,concerts and movies about music. what happened to the old days?

Yes I would rush home from school to watch TRL, and stay up watching videos. The only stations that still play videos I think is CMT.

I agree and definitely miss those days, now its all about reality shows and it sucks

I miss those days too.  I do like the occasional show on MTV, but it was nice when it was basically always music.

It's just MTV now. They changed it a while back that it no longer stands for anything

They still play music. It's just usually very early in the morning

Since last 15 yrs or so MTV has become a CRAP now. Its has useless and senseless shows, I wonder if anyone even watches it.

Now a days, it's all about drama and reality shows. Even other channels are not what they used to be.

Shows are  prone to put things tht will get them views... Since the rise of youtube and music sharing sites, music video  on tv is unnecessary and losing in views
