Personally I think he is a good example of what happens when a lot of un-polictically educated votes actually register to vote b/c he how emotionally invested they are in the whole process.

The majority of Presidential elections have been won similarly to this (you think Bush, for a recent example, really got elected on his political merits?).  If it was that bad the Electoral College wouldn't have gone along with the popular vote.

I would have loved to see Hilary on the ticket but I think Uncle Sam is still afraid of a strong, educated, vocal woman in a pantsuit!  

People are more concerned with a dynasty of Bush's and Clinton's.  From 1989 to 2009, there was a Bush or Clinton in the Presidential seat.  Plain silliness.

What is he fighting for again? oh yeah freedom for you to not be allowed to speak nagatively about the commander and chief xD Kinda Ironic really Its funny how when people are in a herd mentality they actually police themselves, for example, of course what your saying is not legally true, but politically and socially true for sure. You should be able to speak your mind, but due to the manipulation and control over the media, and the brainwashing by the government to give the illusion that 'patriotism' means supporting your presidents every action... of course the PATRIOT ACT is everything but patriotic, and censoring your speech is everything but 'free' and 'american'.

I am not a fan of Obama and I did not vote for him either. In my opinion our ecomony was already on a spiral but I feel that Obama's decisions have only increased the spiral. My husband and I lost our jobs in March 2008 and even after several hundreds applications/resumes I have only just secured a part-time job with the school district. I am truly blessed to have secured the job as I can finally provide health insurance for my family (husband, self and two sons). I am strictly working for insurance but pleased to do so. My husband is still unemployed. So far we have lost a vehicle and we are on the verge of losing our home. When I tried to get assistance I was told I did not qualify because I own my home and a vehicle. This is ridiculous.....where is the assistance for home owners...the so-called stimulus package!!!! I have worked since I was 16 and I feel useless and unable to help support my family. I think Obama needs to reevaluate his decisions.

A realtor in Florida made sense when she said, " the stimulus package should have been $1 million to each family to purchase a home and car...this would have cost less than what the stimulus is currently costing our taxpayers....in addition it would have stimulated the economy for vehicles and homes." FOOD FOR THOUGHT!!!

I believe that there is always going to be somebody, somewhere, that has a gripe or complaint about the president no mater who it is and no matter what is going on.  There are always going to be people that complain but don’t get out and vote.  If you didn’t vote then you have no right to complain.  So hush.  From what I have seen (in my day to day) the people that are griping and complaining the most are people that #1 didn’t vote, #2 don’t agree with a black man being president, and #3 are just plain ignorant.  I don’t personally agree with everything he does but things will get worse before they get better, and in due time things will change…

Believe it or not Obama (or any president for that matter) is not the decision maker he is merely the “fall guy”.  Think about it…

Change will not come overnight or in a week or two it takes time for things to change.  He inherited many, and I mean many of the problems that we have today.  True he hasn’t done all the things he said he would do but he also has 4 years to do it all.  Plus what President has?  When was the last time you did EVERYTHING you said you would do?  He’s human plain and simple.

Its easy to criticize when you are sitting in the comfort of your own home…

You honestly believe that the majority of people who complain didn't vote, are racist, or ignorant..? Pretty simple minded if you ask me... Lots of people disagree with EVERY president for a HUGE number of reasons, generally number 1 is the economy, and 2 is war, although they flop back and forth often... I would say compared to the people who are upset with Obama over doubling the troops in Afghanistan, allowing Guantanamo to stay open, letting the Patriot act and others still exist without being vetoed etc. those who are just 'ignorant', 'racist' or 'didn't vote' pale in comparison...

Also just because someone doesn't vote, this does not mean they lose the right to complain? This is America... its your CHOICE to vote or not, and your FREEDOM to complain... I have yet to meet a racist who don't like Obama for his color, but then again I'm in California....  You are correct when you compare Obama to other presidents and say "who has?" followed through with their promises. Most all have not, and Obama is just yet another President, yet another politician who does not have the PEOPLE''s welfare as his best interest. This is normal for his position, he is a crook and a thief like every other politicians. It's true he don't make the decisions, he is only a puppet or fall guy like you say. How can anyone have respect for a liar who pretends to make decisions, and who's entire job is to fool the public and make them believe they are the important ones when they really are looking out for special interests and the highest bidder? Hard to respect that, and even harder when the man sends more of your children/brothers/sisters/mothers/fathers to die after claiming he would bring them home.

I said the people I talk to in my day to day conversations.  I didn’t say that they were racist I meant they don’t like a black man being president.  I agree that people disagree with the president for a number of reasons but I have had people tell me “I don’t like him because he is black.”  These are the people I talk to in my day to day.  Those are valid reasons to be upset with Obama but I have yet to hear that out of someone I spoke with.  I live in Alabama.

The only "change" is that there is a black man as president. I've been unemployed for 18 months and things don't look good. Even if a fast food joint is hiring they will only give you 9 maybe 10 hours per week!! He is a joke and one day maybe all the Obama fanatics will see it.

Yeah, we all know the President controls unemployment!  The economy was moving towards its worst when he was coming into office.  The economy is just now indicating an upturn.  Unemployment lags behind the real time economy.  You fix the economy, you wait for unemployment to stabilize.  It takes longer than a couple months.

This would be a great theory if it weren't for the fact that he lost a huge number of votes simply because he is black.  Knock off the nonsense, think a bit.  He got elected because he was clearly better at campaigning, inspired people, raised more money, and so on.  He got elected because people bought his rhetoric...aka he was a better politician than McCain and it clearly showed in the campaign.
