I don't believe he solely makes all the decisions.  In fact, it's not a belief, it's a plain fact of US government.  There are checks and balances on his powers.  He has many responsibilities and powers (commander in chief, appointing thousands of staff members in the federal government, etc.), but I have never denied the President is subject to countless variations of external influence, good and bad.

The NWO is a nonsensical conspiracy theory supported by people akin to Kent Hovind.  The idea that Jane Fonda, the British Royal Family, the US government, and Israel are plotting to form a global government to control everyone is worse than Scientology's goofy beliefs.

I'm a 19 year old college student.  I need money   And I enjoy discussing things, because people will rarely discuss these kinds of topics out in the real world.

I like the fact that you put out information there for us to all read, I just wish it hadn't been wikipedia. Since any idiot can change the information on there it just seems to me that it isn't a reliable or even credible source of information. Do you have any other sources of information? Nothing I posted was of any complex nature, so they should all link directly back to sites like UN.ORG, Bilderberg for example has 28 references in the bottom of the wikipedia page. If wikipedia is not a good source, what is? I know its easily manipulated, so I will ask what you would prefer? Since sources can be obtained nearly anywhere and all can be discounted... if its mainstream media "thats fox, not to be trusted" or if its an independent site "thats conspiracy". So really the argument of what sources is one that cannot be won unless you give me the criteria What are you looking for? It's fine with me that you put the wikipedia info up, it does explain. I honestly don't know which source would be true. It seems to me that most of the information is based on opinions sometimes and not facts. Which is kind of why I wanted to know if you had any other sources yourself just because I'm curiously interested now in what you posted. I don't really have a preferred news source because really, I don't think any of them base their reports on facts alone, it seems to be more like a lot of opinions and a few facts thrown in to call it "news".

i think pretty much all sources of news are biased in one way or another.... one example of the corporate and political leaders working towards a new world order is easy to see in advertising and news... You have these big corporations like Bayer, Coca-Cola etc. who are responsible for tragedies and travesties all the time... these kind of companies can start wars, disease through lack of freshwater, or in bayers case, even intentionally spread AIDS to thousands! (search "bayer aids" if unfamiliar)... These corporations pay for the advertising and keep the news running.. so when these things happen often they go unreported, or if they are reported, they are at the end of the broadcast and put in a 'funny' light or not taken seriously. These companies now have say over what the news reports... you jump to the bigger picture and see all media is owned by about 5-6 companies... which makes it very easy to control the image of anything from war, to religion. You can control what people buy with the advertising and product placement, you can set these trends with pop rock rap stars etc. This alone allows you to manipulate society to believe whatever you want..  even politicians can make or break with the help of news... a well covered scandal, or a well covered up scandal, makes all the difference.. so in ways the media is stronger than the politicians... but I think we all know that politicians are weak and controlled by others... who? more corporations and sponsors... campain contributers, politicians doing "favors" etc. This is all well known just casual criminal politics... but the big picture is... who runs these companies who decide whats on the news? people dont talk about the head of walmart, or more important, those with the most invested stock and loans out to each company... the banks... the federal reserve who control the banks etc. You can see how the pyramid just gets smaller and smaller... the corporations who control public image, are also controlled by their investors..

I suppose we're operating under different views of the NWO.  The NWO I was commenting on is the one people (again, people akin to Kent Hovind) fear monger about.  They play the NWO off as some crazy, dictator-like global economy where people are going to lose their freedoms and liberties because Israel and the British Royal Family want to take over the world.

There is a difference between pushing for a global economy, single currency, global government, global decisions, etc. (all of which are very unlikely to ever fully happen, and all of which I'm aware have been discussed for decades) and saying nonsense like the US government and a few other people at the top are trying to take over the world solely for their benefit.

The NWO may exist to a small degree, but it doesn't exist in the same way people generally use the term "New World Order."

Wikipedia has a pretty darn good watch on the majority of their content.  Anything that's really important and viewed often (say WWII) can't be edited without specific permission from the administrators of Wikipedia.  There are also quite a few restrictions and a lot of consistent oversight by Wikipedia to make sure anything that is added has a legitimate source along with it and isn't just plain nonsense.

There also probably aren't THAT many people who are bored enough to go find random Wikipedia articles and add dishonest facts and information for the hell of it.

Anything on Wikipedia has sources, so if you want to see more sources for the information there, they're all noted within the text as well as at the foot of the page.

the term New World Order is tossed around so much that Im not sure what you are referring to really...yeh lots of weird conspiracies are out there about the new world order that make no sense.. However the facts that can be verified are that it is as defined a New World Order these people look forward to, and that it is a conspiracy of individuals of high power who want this order and work actively to persue it, and that the effect of this New World Order is of course of great consequence only to those who are not in the elite... It's a lot like a group of mafia's who all ultimately want control of the people.. however like any criminal network, each subdivision will often cutthroat another... one group may persecute another, however the agenda is the same on both sides... steal all the money from the everyday joeblow... sooner or later some mafia gangs may get big enough to eliminate another, each of these mafia gangs has the dream to be the one who accomplishes that and ultimately wipes out all gangs and has complete control... but there is always the human element, so many will think its ok for the greater good.. so they will follow along and work for this mafia even with good intentions, following the evil agenda... this is the same with businesses, they buy each other up, and eliminate one another, ultimately a final goal is complete dominance. Some will say its with good intentions, some are honest and claim its about money... but taxing people for a global environmental tax, or a national healthcare tax, etc. to pay for some help to the people... while putting trillions of money in bailouts to big corporations with money printed out of thin air or registered buy typing some zero's on the computer... is theft, unexcusable, the children suffer with inflation etc. etc. and the new world order exists in all these evil fucks, and some of them see the bigger picture, while many are on a small pyramid that looks a lot like a pile of dog *bleep*...and they are happy to order around minimum wage employees... others strive to be walmart and president.. and those ones are even scarier..

I think maybe the level of new world order or mass control people get lost and doubt at is... there is a vast conspiracy of politicians and corporate leaders meeting in private to control these things instead of the president.. if thats the part you have trouble with, I suggest researching the "bilderberg group" and "Trilateral commission"

If ever some miracle killed every candidate and someone like Ron Paul became president or someone who is honest.. they would off the guy/girl pretty quickly... or "let him be offed" by not protecting him... buyt mostly likely they would just prevent it... put scandal on the television, sway the polls, ignore the candidate, its easy when you control the media... so thats a good reason alone to be skeptical of Obama.. but again his actions speak louder than words.

Not a big Obama fan however as a military wife I am not really allowed to speak negatively of our commander in chief! Personally I think he is a good example of what happens when a lot of un-polictically educated votes actually register to vote b/c he how emotionally invested they are in the whole process. I would have loved to see Hilary on the ticket but I think Uncle Sam is still afraid of a strong, educated, vocal woman in a pantsuit!
