skipping breakfast
« on: November 09, 2014, 08:48:02 am »
a friend of mine is moving in a couple days. She said she "won't have time" for breakfast before the movers come.
I just commented that she would need her energy for such a day's event!

Not a good idea. It is the most important meal of the day. Even if it is just something light, don't skip it. Get your morning start-up.

Breakfast should never, ever be skipped because it not only gives you energy in the morning but it really does  set the tone for how and when you eat the rest of the day.  I never skip breakfast!!

Whenever I have a lousy breakfast it throws off my whole day. I actually end up eating more and with a headache. She could try some instant oatmeal. It's quick and more filling than cereal.

Skipping breakfast doesn't do a mind and body good because eating breakfast gives you the energy to start your day.

I sometimes skip breakfast in the morning because I usually get a stomach ache if eat something early in the morning (probably because of anxiety or stress)... I eat a snack later when I get a chance to

make time for it.It is the most important meal of the day. Breakfast gets you started  with fuel for the day. Supper is the meal aha should be cut down or monitored. Skipping meals si not so good for the metabolism. BMaston12

I agree with everyone. Skipping breakfast is not good. Skipping meals period isn't good.

In the mornings, if I am going somewhere, I will always eat breakfast or a snack. If I am staying home, I sometimes skip breakfast.
