I think the surveys that do not ask your age before allowing your opinion is great. you actually get to have an opinion and that is respectful. thanks fusion for finding this type of survey for us older follks. many times we are refused on matters we have done and are doing in the present by the surveys that just keep asking your age over and over.

I get disqualified for being 24 or not being a parent all the time.  Different surveys are looking for different demographics. I just keep trying until I find one that wants me.

I have to agree with the fact that it is all about the demographic the surveyor is trying to reach and get their opinion.  It can be real frustrating!

Are you older or are you younger, are you male or are you female, do you have a car or don't you, do you have children of a certain age or not, do you travel for business or for pleasure, do you work and is it in a certain industry or do you not, do you own or do you rent, have you recently mortgaged or not, do you have banking services and what are they or do you not, do you go out to eat and how often and is it often enough and to certain restaurants, and on and on and on....

Sometimes it's enough to drive you a bit crazy, but as Taylor Swift sings, "Shake it off."

and so they gave me a survey for mattresses and 20 minutes later cut me off and gave me a penny. so I assume 60 year olds just get screwed on these surveys. its absolutely unfair here. and once in awhile they let the old dog have a survey and get paid for it.

I am 69 years old and I work in market research so I do not qualify for most surveys. Clients are targeting a specific group and often it is a younger group. I am always delighted when I get  to complete and get credit for a survey. Every so often I get to do a survey that is targeted for seniors and I really love that. We, seniors, have special and specific needs that younger people don't have. We have a lot to say.

Besides that, i work, go to the Y, travel, eat (too much), buy organic foods, vote, watch a lot of TV, have technology and have a lot of fun. I have a lot of needs and a lot of opinions. I wish there more surveys targeted for over 65.

I do not feel old. I feel very young (but I do look old).

 :)

I am still hurting from not getting credited for the 35 cent commercial survey that took 15 to 20 minutes, and was completed.
