what "do it yourself" tricks have you discovered? It seems that the craft and art classes we took as children are useful to us as adults. I see all kinds of videos and photos of people giving "do it yourself" tips on quite a range of topics.

I've always been into DIY projects but lately have been most interested in re-purposing (turning items that are no longer useful into a useful item) to "use what one already has to save money" and keep items out of landfills.  My 1st project was taking a plastic coffee cup that had a broken seal & leaked and turning it into a non-breakable vase which I needed to decorate my space at work.   My next two projects will be trying to make kitty litter from newspaper and a paper mache project.  :)  DIY is so much fun!!

I can just say fixing things that are simple to save money.  I do not do it yourself for major projects.
