I was working the night shift when the time changed;  I got paid an extra hour!  But it seemed like a terribly long night!  :-\

Thank you!! My clocks mostly set themselves, but I had to set the one in my truck and my phone had to be updated (for some reason).

That first day that the time went back seemed unusually long- like longer than an hour.

I don't like this time change but they sure never asked me before doing it.  I don't like it getting dark so early.  I'm retired so don't have to worry about getting off work and coming home in the dark but we have 3 daughters that have kids they come home with after work every day.  I worry about them coming into their homes after dark.

Days are shorter in winter because of the tilt of the earth's axis, not the time change.

I do like it when the clocks change, however it does rather put me out of sync for a few days. I keep looking at the clock at 9pm thinking, why am I tired at this time of day? Then I realize it used to be 10pm and I would ordinarily be going to bed at that time! I love the extra hour lie in on Sunday morning but I'm sure I waste it by walking around confused and dazed!
