Do you think it is a good idea for children under 16 to throw or attend hotel parties?

I'm not entirely sure what you mean... When I was in traveling soccer, we'd sometimes have pizza parties at the hotel we were staying at at the end of a tournament. And our extended family has sometimes rented out a ballroom at a hotel for a large family reunion. In both cases there were kids under 16 (for the family reunion, we'd even get toddlers there). I have also heard of classmates getting together to throw an after-prom party, which I think is a great idea esp. when some kids would've drank or had sex were there not for these parties...

No! That's entirely too young, to attend and especially throw; most hotels require an adult with a credit card to hold the room making that adult legally and financially responsible. I know its done, but it's too risky.

No way... I think it is a bad idea. There is so much liability on the hotel, and 16 years old is NOT old enough to rent a hotel room anyway.

The chances are slim to none unless your family owns the hotel. Or your parents pay for the hotel and they will be on site. I have heard some hotel parties ended up trashing hotel rooms. But it is possible with adult supervision.
