I don't know if there has been a true scientific study, but it does seem to be that way (esp. with people acting more crazy during a full moon). I actually heard an explanation for this full moon behavior that sounds at least plausible... The full moon is brighter so A) people feel more awake and so are more active and B) it disturbs a person's circadian rhythm causing issues in their sleep patterns. Thus people are mentally more tired because of their messed up sleep patterns, yet feel wired because of the moon's brightness causing people to act out more. It's like giving a toddler a can of pop right before bed after staying up too late to begin with; the kid is tired and cranky yet the caffeine and sugar have the kid wired so that they tend to act out and have tantrums...

I don't know...Me and my family have a running joke that every time someone acts a fool, we'd always say "You know it was a full moon last night?" It's said that the word lunatic comes from the word luna meaning moon in latin. Sooooo....LOL

I believe there have been a number of scientific studies and none show any correlation between "moods" and lunar cycles.

Well I work with 3 and 4 years old andi can tell you there behavior and attention spam definitely change arond a full koon!

No people are stupid.  The moon has nothing to do with how people act or why they do things, when babies are born, or anything else.
