Have you ever met or seen a celebrity before?

Well when I was in the Close up program( Social Studies program) in High School. I was on a trip to Washington DC, New York, and all the areas where history was made including the Liberty bell in Philadelphia and Virginia, the Statue of Liberty, and the Empire State Building. I met "LT"( Lawrence Taylor) the former Linebacker for the NY giants at a Hotel in Virginia. But he wasn't very friendly at all. I got to shake hands with the President of the United states back then, Bill Clinton. and still have a picture to prove it.

I have met a lot of baseball players and coaches, Adam Wainright, Bobby *bleep*, Don Drysdale, Tommy Lasorda, Joe Borchard, John Ennis, Trey Hodges, Chipper Jones,  (my son was a professional baseball player in the big leagues),  I have been in a company that sales Monavie and have met, Steve Burton, (and a lot of people from General Hospital), Joey Lawrence and his brothers, Shaleena Smith (nursery room designer for the stars), Beyonce, (my other two kids work for  Warner Bros., and do tv, movie and video shoots), George Clooney, Noah Wyle, Julia Marguilles, Jay Leno,  lots of others.....and guess what most are really just like you and I...they just have a job where a lot more people know who they are!

I am not a big celebrity watcher, either.  However, many years ago when we were in NY, we went to see Rodney Dangerfield.  We  had a table right in front of him, and he asked me for a cigarette during his performance.  (That was back when I used to smoke - no longer.)  Years later I worked for a bank in the financial district of Richmond, VA.  A young lady who worked with me was a celebrity watcher.  She noticed that Run DMC was in a restaurant next to our office, and we went over and chatted and got autographs.  They were very nice.  I have no idea where the autographs are now - somewhere buried in piles of paper, I expect.  Going back a long time, I happened to see President Eisenhower in an open car when I worked in Richmond and Barbara Bush's hair.  (grin)  She and the President were in a limousine with dark windows, and I saw her white hair just after they passed by.  And, of course, I've seen several performers in concert - Elvis, Tom Jones, Neil Diamond (some of my favorite singers) and a few other.

LOL yes met almost all of the cast of Bonanza when I was a child.  There was a place in Ocala FL called Six Gun Territory and they had celebrities come there - in fact my brother who was still in diapers (cloth diapers) was being held by the Dad (Ben Cartwright) he wet his diaper which went through lol - Mr. Cartwright was very cordial about the whole thing.  I'll never forget it.

I got to meet one of my favorite actors,the great Luke Skywalker himself,Mark Hamill,at a book signing years ago.He was a great guy.Very friendly,and we had a nice little chat.

I met and spoke with Lorretta Lynn, Hank Williams junior, I seen Elvis in person and Johnny Nash oh and Ruth Buzzie, she is so little lol

Yes I have. I met Wycleff Jean at Coney Island.

Yes, I met Steve Harvey recently because I was on the show and I've met Evander Holyfield

I have never meet a celebrity before very sadly. The closest I have ever been to someone like that is about 50 rows away in a concert!

Once. Michael Bolton. He was in a music store in a mall. I bought his CD only to have a chance shaking his hand and took a picture with him. LOL.

I met Jimi Hendricks. He was wearing a purple( and I mean Purple) suit.
