Absolutely. I don't think it rests entirely with other people of course but they it's undeniable. We're not objects. We respond to our environment be it people animals. Sometimes it's involuntary.

I'm definitely susceptible to the tone others reflect themselves. I have a very pessimistic uncle who always put me in a foul mood whenever he's around. I am fortunate enough that I do surround myself with quite optimistic friends, until they talk about their marriage.

Definitely!!! As I got older I began to notice that and started surrounding myself around positive people. This has made my life SO much better!!!

Yes.  Now, some of it is our choice obviously, but if you are constantly around people who look down on others or are always in a bad mood, eventually it's going to start affecting you.  That's why we need to be aware of those around us and try not to let their mood affect us unintentionally.

Yes. Our moods can be affected by other people. Negative or positive.

Do you think when you're around someone, and they are in a certain mood, do you feel the same way?
ABSOLUTELY.  We are all affected by our surroundings.  Someones mood can change yours very quickly.  I have a friend who used to "suck the energy" out of me.

I notice how much more comfortable it is to be with someone who is in a good mood, so I guess - yes, I am affected by their mood.

Yes 100% absolutely true! Surround yourself with miserable people and boom, there you are feeling bad. Surround yourself with positive people and totally different vibe.

Yes this can definitely happen. It has happened to me many times. Sometimes it's a bad thing and sometimes it's a good thing. Depends on the actual energy/mood that's being absorbed.  :peace:

I always pick up on other people's moods but I try not to let that influence me. I an usually a very happy person no matter what the circumstances are around me.

That's pretty much true, you've heard the saying "misery loves company." Unless you take the initiative to put an end to that mood you may very much adapt to it, whether knowingly or unknowingly.
