What do you do when you are stuck in traffic?

Don't get stuck in traffic anymore - live in the country and am retired.  Even in our town part it would be difficult to be considered stuck in traffic even when at peak traffic times.  Now last job I had was a county over and I had to travel on the interstate and got stuck in traffic plenty (almost daily coming or going) and I would pray or sing to the radio.

Having been several times in traffic, I listen some to the radio, read or work on some problems that I brought home, or if the person who stuck next to me seems like they want to visit we may visit while waiting. I have met some nice people that way.  We just rolled our windows down and visited. I never gave information out on where I live and never got out of my car and also kept the door locked, but it sure passed the time.

I have to admit I do get frustrated when I'm stuck in traffic. Other times, I just turn on the radio and blast some good music - top 40, alternative, etc... (no relaxing music because it doesn't relax me!).

Myself I put the radio on and find music I like and sing(not very good) but it passes the time faster. I even tap my hands and feet until I can move. What do you do?

I'm with you on the radio. My morning show of Classic Rock has some good comedy relief. Nothing like Bo&Jim in the morning. This morning they were talking about the food they ate at the TX State Fair. Of course they had some laughs about the midway attractions. Gets you ready for your day at work.

I leson to my radio and get mad at the driver that move in and out of lanes and make other pople have to stop so they don't hit them.

i live in the country so when i have to go into town and get stuck in traffic i get very upset...i hate traffic

Text everyone I know and crab about the traffic.  Then I listen to the Dave Ramsey show on the radio.

I also listen to music on the radio.  Music is relaxing and keeps me from getting too anxious.

This is one that I am a bit hesitant to admit to, but I light up a cigarette when I am stuck in traffic. It relieves the stress.

I listen to the radio or I talk on the phone.  But then again those are the same things I do when I am driving and not stuck in traffic.
