I THINK IT COULD END UP A MURDER CASE

I think that he was addicted to drugs and ultimately died at his own doing, meaning that it was his own fault, yes the Doctors were wrong in providing the drugs, but nobody forced him to take them.  If a person is shown a steep cliff it dosen't mean they should jump.  I was not a real fan of his music but ANY loss of life is sad.

I also was not a fan of his. But he was great in his class. Yes the doctors gave him the prescriptions knowing he has a problem, anad they should be held accountable because of what they knew, but he also has a mind to get some help. A few years back he admited that he had a problem, that is the first step, but I feel he got no help. His father included. His father claims this and that. (He wasn't allowed to help, I think it is bull) there are courts and he always had a problem with the kids. Even the day after Michael's death, his father was more worried about the recording studio that he just started. Come on.  If there was a problem because of the doctor then the laws should take care of the situation. If not let Michael R.I.P

My opinion on Michael Jackson's death- I think he had the chance to be a real role model to black children and black people everywhere, but instead, he chose to get plastic surgery and deny his black heritage. Too bad, he was an excellent singer and a great performer, but he was a sad individual. I am not surprised he was so addicted to drugs. No doctor can force drugs down your throat, and its not necessarily the doctors' jobs to keep someone from getting addicted. Need more oxycotin? Sure, here! I think the media coverage is insane. He was a great performer, but what about the other people that died at the same time? What about all the people that have done great things for the world? Forgotten. I hope he is happy wherever he is, happier than he was here.

His life was just so chaoitic.  It makes me feel bad for him.  They even made a big circus of his funeral.  I don't understand why they won't just leave him alone.

That is so true about him denying his black heritage.  I told my hubby that I was probably 14 before I realized he wasn't white!!  And yet the blacks worshipped him... his "carnival of a funeral" was majority blacks and yet you won't see that at a white funeral...

NO... I don't think he was murdered by no means.  I think he was addicted to his pain killers and he over dosed.  I don't care that they found a needle mark in his neck... don't you think he hit every vein he could find???  Isn't that what a true drug addict would do???  Ok... just my opinion!!

I think everyone should just let poor Mr. Jackson lay to rest. He made mistakes with drugs but he always lacked a childhood and real parental role models so that is not at all surprising. Hopefully these murder rumors can be dispelled and he can be respected for the great performer he was and not focused on because of his untimely death.

i think that we lost an icon true enough but i don't think it was murder. We may just not be ready to accept the fact that  he was on drugs.

I think all the hangers-on around him, his doctors especially only cared about his money.  He was a cash cow and as long as they pumped him full of drugs and got paid they didn't care.  Like I heard someone else say in the media it was greed that killed Michael.  He had a sad life despite his fame and fortune.  His brother said he wanted to stop the drugs because it didn't like the way they made him feel but the greedy doctors wouldn't let him because they were getting paid.

I'm pretty sick of hearing about it, really.
he died, he had a drug problem. so do a lot of people.
what makes me sad is a lot of people my age aren't really a mj fan, but now that he's dead, they're all acting like it.
a lot of people are acting like his life was so horrible and that they loved him all along, but most of these people made jokes about him before his death.
the fact that people are flip-flopping their opinions is annoying me.

I think people should just leave this poor man alone.  He is dead now and hopefully finally at peace.

I think it is a shame that he died the way he did.  I didn't realize he had such a drug problem, but that is no excuse.  He could have gotten help if he wanted to.  The doctors may be partially resposible, but if MJ was taking the drugs, he is more responsible.  I hope that it will eventually calm down and he will be able to rest in peace.
