standing in line
« on: September 13, 2014, 06:52:11 am »
no matter what the reason you are standing in line, some people are pushy. They have their favorite seat and they want to get it. They might have certain people they like to sit with on a regular basis. They might have a preference for the middle row, front row, or some other row. They may have a preference for a certain table in the restaurant.

If there is a line - everyone should wait their turn.  No Exceptions!

I don't have that problem probably because I have a mean face or I go to the right places. Whatever the reason I will pray that you don't have that problem in the future.

Some people just don't want to stand and this apparently overrides courtesy. Of course, when you're on commute standing up and bunched together like a pack of meat, sometimes hopefully getting a seat is enticing.

No! People who cut in front of you (while you are waiting in line) are the worst kind. I do not like waiting in line.

Have you heard that they now have people who are paid to stand in line for other people? Some people actually pay others to stand in line for them and they get a call when to come back.

What's next?  ???

My husband will stand in line for me sometimes because I have trouble standing for long periods of time. I don't pay him though lol.

Some people have reservations and therefore get to skip the line.

Yes.  People in general are always in a rush today and they become real pushy.  You just have to let them be and avoid conflict.

True that!  I also find that the people that need the most exercise generally wait for fifteen minutes, circling the parking lot, looking for the closest parking spot to the entrance. People with twenty items always seem to vascillate to the check out counter that has a fifteen item limit. I am really shocked by the number of people that park in the handicap spots and are perfectly healthy. Or the people that can see that a lane merges from a mile ahead but insist on driving all the way up to the front and pushing their way in. Or the people that stay in a merge lane, onto a highway, till the very last minute...blocking through traffic.
