Back to school time

School necessities feel like they're increasing much more than when I remember when I was young. I think adding technology in the mix makes this more so, but I'm frustrated with the current school for my daughter as extra expenses, such as charging for the use of lockers, which I find as absurd.

I am so okay with summer being over it has been so hot these past few days i am ready for football season and same fall weather!

I have no kids so back to school time means I get my quiet back during the day .. LOL

Yes that does bite, my kids started school last Wednesday already bummer

I don't miss summer too much. I'm in college and it feels like summer all the time

My son is enjoying his new school. Transferred him from a horrible school. One of the good things I like is that the Principal is at the front of the school everyday before and after to greet the kids and answer quick questions from the parents. He has made 4 friends already. Each day I pick him up he says good day mom. I like this school so far. I am so happy for him. He has also changed his attitude about learning and is happy to do his homework. He helps more around the house and he does not have a tiffy at bed time. Who knew having a positive day of school could change a kids behavior and his outlook on everyday life. I am a happy mom at this moment. Now a couple of months from am I hoping my son will continue his good days at school.

I'm sad about going back to school, but I'm glad I'm getting it over with!!

Don't know why but even though i'm no longer going to school, I get this depressed feeling. I guess I have some kind of seasonal depression cuz I always get this way when autume ends. Maybe, it's the time change and September's my birthday and getting older every year is too depressing too!

Yes it is back to school time! This i am very excited about because this is my last semester then i will finally recive my Masters!

The worst part about school starting is traffic. It seems no one walks to school anymore. I try not to go to stores near schools at 3 ish. No parking.

I'm not sure where this summer went! It flew by. My daughter is excited to be starting her sophomore year at the high school.

It's here, which means summer is just about over

Summer ended for me 2 weeks ago. I have my 1st exams on 9/11 and 9/15! So soon!

I love having adult children where they aren't going to school and neither am I.
