LOST
« on: August 12, 2014, 05:11:10 pm »
Has anyone watched the show Lost. I seen it has been years since it came out. This show is really good. I just do not understand the Island really or the black smoke thing. Funny how these people been there back in 1977 but then again in 2004. Hmm just really confusing. What have anyone of you gotten from this show?

I think it is something like "Survivor"...you have to learn how to live thru hard times!

There were a couple of confusing aspects to the show but I really liked it.  My husband and I watched all but the last two seasons when it was first out then after he passed last year my sons and I watched the whole thing on netflix from beginning to end.  I really liked that show.

I love that show. I used to watch it with my mama before she passed away. The show is really confusing but good. You know even after it was all over. I was still confused about some of the things. I don't know if even the people who produced it actually knew all the stuff. I think they made it up as they went along.

Never really got into this show as I was always at work the night it was on ... but from what I did see of it .. it looked like my kind of show.  I may have to try to find out if it is on "On Demand"

I have seen just a few part of some of it but was so confused by it that I didn't care much for it. But my wife told me that I need to see it from the very beginning to understand the whole point of the show. Well I didn't I never watch after that one time. In fact I was snoozing in the middle of it. LOL

That was one of my favorite shows when it was on air. I started watching it about half-way through the 2nd season after some of my friends raved about it, and I too was thinking that since I had started watching it late, that I wouldn't get into it, but there was still plenty of mysteries left so I didn't feel too lost (no pun intended) starting it that late. I can't remember if it was on-demand or on the web, but eventually I was able to re-watch the episodes that I had missed; although they weren't so important in understanding the show from where I had started, it did a lot more back-story for the main characters that helped in understanding the characters even more.

My youngest son keeps telling me how good this show is but I've never seen it.

I'm sure I would be LOST while watching it too. I usually am.  :-[

It was great.  I watched it when it was originally broadcast.  Keep watching, enjoy the ride, it gets clearer at the end, but you need all the parts.  It's like a jigsaw puzzle where you get the pieces a few at a time - when you get them all you can see the picture.   ;)

LOST is on my list of shows to watch straight through on Netflix.
I have heard great things about it, especially the first few seasons.   I heard it went downhill towards the end, but still good.  Can't wait to see it, wish I had more time for tv watching.  :)
