Thank you for the truly inspirational and directional message! We should all live today like it is our last...so many times our priorities get mis-guided! Find time to make a difference. It is hard for me to do because it seems like my destiny is centered on working two jobs until I get my kids through high school, college and married off.  I appear to be in perpetual search of finding another cent to put towards their success and the expense of mine. I am up early today to finish my last few posts as I head into a new day time project on Monday and another night time project hit me last night at seven. I was in the middle of finishing off some house projects because saving money on handy men is just as effective as making money!

lol.  This reminds me of when I was a kid a girl who was baby sitting my cousin said her preacher or Sunday School teacher had said the more you give the more you will receive.  She had $50 in her piggy bank and she gave that $50 the next Sunday and said she kept waiting for more than $50 to show up in the mail addressed to her.    She finally told her mom and then it was explained to her what that statement actually meant.  She was young at the time so don't bash her.

I so agree with this notion. I realised when I was about 20 that my parents would not be around for ever, so I visited whenever I was able, went on vacation year after year - our family got so big with children and grandchildren that it reminded me of the Waltons! It was lovely to see my father pick up my son one family vacation in Scotland. My son was crawling in the middle of the conservatory and was right in front of the sliding door. My father didn't want him to get trampled on so picked him up and moved him to the center of the conservatory, back to where his toys were. My dad passed away 7 years ago and I have a billion memories of wonderful extended-family vacations. I'm so pleased I invested my time when he was alive.

Thanks for posting this! I've been so busy studying and working out I really haven't been doing anything for myself. I'll go out this weekend. It's a blessing to be able to breathe fresh air and go and come as I choose, I should enjoy it.
