what is the longest time you had to keep a secret?
Several years ago, my brother surprised me for my 50th birthday.
My parents and my sisters kept the secret for three months.

For almost 7 yrs I kept a secret that my son's father was not really his bio dad, his bio dead killed himself when my son was 11 months old. Yeah, I should have been on Oprah! lol

I kept a secret for 3months. I did not tell my parents that my baby was going to be a downs syndrome Baby, it was a little girl. I just did not want them worried. Finally I did tell them, and mother broke down.  They were so counting on having a granddaughter. But the hardest part was telling them she may not make it. and she didn't.

I still hold several secrets told to me back in college (years ago).  Doesn't really matter much anymore as all parties involved are scattered across the states and I haven't seen them in years.

Like the time...oh!  You almost got me there.  ;)

I don't really know.  I know I've kept secrets before, but I can't really think of how long ago that was.

When someone tells you a secret, it's not for you to ever tell someone else.  I told a person whom I thought was a friend a secret and she told it to someone else-I immediately removed her from my friend list and stopped speaking to her.  Secrets are never to be shared with anyone else.
