you should direct deposit it and let it sit for awhile, let ur funds on FC build up!!!! it may look etter that way

It's so funny you say that!!  I worked for H&R block for a while and they also told us that we were supposed to claim ALL of our lottery winnings even from scratch of tickets.  How the heck are they going to know if I won $2 on a ticket?  Not that it matters, because then you can keep all of your losing tickets and deduct it up to the amount won!!  how ridiculous is that?!?!? 

Anyway... to answer the question though... I wouldn't worry about it.  It's not much although, according to the IRS you are supposed to claim EVERY DIME you make... even a kid babysitting is supposed to, but not required if a minor.  So don't worry about it... just deposit and use it for something fun! 

If you should make over $500 in a one year time period you would get a 1099. Funny thing about the stupid IRS is that those jerks even have the nerve to say that if you have say a Mary Kay party and the rep gives you a free item for hosting the party you are supposed to claim the value of the product as income LOL !?! WTF !?! Greedy sobs.
