If you won the lottery of 50 million what would be some of the first things you would do?
1.Home school tutor and College fund for my son. Charity donations
2.Buy some land for me and my siblings to build us some homes on for us and our children and their children. Big ole family lot.
3.Take a Family vacation and while on >>>>
4.Get help on making investments to keep earning.
5.Buy into a franchise of some sort like Church's chicken or start my business.
 Those would be some of the things I would do.
The best one of all would be to take half and put into a savings.

First pay off all bills, purchase a home for my mom closer to my residence, assist my siblings with some of their financial needs, hire a reputable financial planner, donate to my church and invest for the future.

If I won 50 million dollars I would thank God, pinch myself to see if I am awake. Then buy a house and pay off all of my bills.
Take a nice family vacation.
Assist my family with some of their money issues.
Make investments for future finances.
Get professional financial help.
Make donations to charities.

Once the dust settles, I will make sure I am ok with it all.

i think i already answer this type of question be for but its ben like forever sense then.
1. I would set up CD ladders so bills, food, personal stuff, cleaning stuff, taxes, and entertainments wouldn't be a problem.
2. Work on what i love to do instead of working for someone else.
3. travel once out of the year.

That would almost get me out of debt. Kidding of course but 50 million sounds about right. So, I would pay off debt, pay off family's debt, travel, buy a home to retire in.

wow that would be wonderful --lets see first off i would donate to the ministry i work at --then i would get a new suv--and a house --give my kids money so they will always be ok money wise--i would love to take a good long vacation and see some of this world --and lastly help out a rescue or two since that is my passion

i would pay off my student loan debt and pay all my credit cards off followed by my mortgage so that i could list the house for sale and move to a house that is more suitable for our family and pay that one off as well then once the other one sold all that money would go into a savings account next would be to trade in our family car and get a new car and pay it off.  i would also help out my mother and father and my husbands mother and father and what ever was left over i would put into a high interest savings account. im all about saving

If I get that kind of money I would demolish this old house and built a new one on top of it.  Until that is done, I don't care what my wife does with the rest of it. I would be happy and knowing that my children and their children will always have a house they can call home.

I would pay it forward.  To the Veterans of this country that need help.  They've given life and limb for ME, it's the least I could do for THEM.  I would help animals in need (injured, sick).  Rescues depend on DONATIONS to do all the great work they do for animals.  I would want to help pay some of those bills to help save the life of any animals that could be saved.

I, too, would build myself a home to my specifications, probably a TRUE Adobe home because I love them so much.  I, of course, would help my family with anything they needed and I would help myself with a few things that I just can't do right now because of lack of money.  I would definitely find the best place to put my money for continual growth.  Other than that, maybe a nice vacation to Tahiti and new car.  Love them Mini Coopers!!

I've discussed this a lot on here but here goes.

Most of it would go into my savings.  After that, I'd probably start helping people in my life.  Give some to my friends to help pay off their tuition or other bills.  Give some to my uncles who are struggling.  Offer some to my parents and sibling so they have something to fall back on.  After that though, I don't know.  I'd probably look into using some of it for further investments.

I'd probably also move out, since I'd be able to now, though where I'd go is a different story since I'm not sure.

Since I just started working 6 months ago, I don't know if I'd keep my job or not.  I've wanted to do more with art and get into a slightly different field, so that would probably take priority over just making money to survive.  As to how I'd go about it, no clue.

Yep those charities of DAV and all Veterans. I already donate to DAV because I took over from where my Father left off at, it is donated in his name. He was a Vet himself. Since he RIP 2011 JUNE I took over that and felt it would be my responsibility to keep it going. Great job!
