I am not sure if you could do this as I do not know where you live. But when I was president of the volunteer fire dep. axulary I put together an auction, lots of people donated and it was auctioned off and we made close to $4000.00 Helped buy a new fire engine It was a lot of work. But worth it.

I think everyone reading this is wondering what club it is you are representing.  That can make a difference in the type of fundraisers.  A few things that come to mind are "blank" athons.  ie: walk, cartwheel, bowling etc... Or sell things ie: smencils, smens, candybars... or how bout make a donation to have you name on a sign, t-shirt... small business's consider this a form of marketing and potentially donate more.

The area I live in people have car washes.  Or the one that gets on my nerves the most - stand in the middle of the street or at the door at Walmart and hold out a bucket and beg for money. lol.   One thing I saw once was put jars with people's name on it and each vote costs one dollar.  It was not for who was the prettiest or anything like that.  The person who got the most votes had to do something like if it is men shave their head (remember a principal that agreed to that) or something silly.  But people get into it.  Maybe the person with the most votes has to be pelted with water balloons for 5 minutes or something silly and fun and something the participants all agree to before they are put in the line up for being voted for.
