I am so sorry you have to go through that again.  I haven't had kemo but my husband has.  About, three years ago now.  They had given him a few different types of drugs to stop the vomiting.  I can't remember what they are called.  After kemo he took one once a day for 3 days.  That one really worked.  Then the other he took I think when ever. twice a day.  If I remember right I think that one was also for the morphine reaction.  I hope this helped you.  Best wishes to you.

I had chemo a few years ago, and sadly probably looking at it again.  They gave me a pill I had to take 6 hours before my chemo and I never threw up.  Yes, you will probably lose your hair, as I did, but they have really great wigs now.  Best of luck and I will pray for you to get through it.

Do the research! There are alternatives to chemo****. You compromise and weaken your immune system. Your immune system is your protection. Doug Kaufmann [Know the Cause] and Patrick Quillin [Cancer Treatment Centers of America] have written books on cancer. I strongly suggest you read them. I put Doug's name first. He has a TV show and online website.

I have not, but my mother has it has been over to years now.  She was not the nicest person to be around.  This was the first time in my life that my mother was unhappy.

Special prayers have gone up for you!  Praying you have an easy time with it.  I personally have been blessed to have never needed chemotherapy but I have several family members and friends who have and/or who are currently going through it.  The effects on each one has been different.  Some had a very easy time and some have not.  It depends on the type of cancer, where it is located and what stage it is in.  I have a good friend who has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and is taking some radical chemo treatments in Dallas, TX.  I have a cousin who goes to the hospital for 8 hours treatment and then goes home with a drip bag of chemo to take for the next 48 hours.  It has been rough on her.
Have a wonderful day!

I know it seems like most people do lose their hair which sucks but it will grow back and if it mean the difference between life and death losing hair is not that huge of a deal.  As for being sick it seems like people don't talk about being sick as much.  Have not been thru it personally but know people who have.

No I have not but I know quite a few people who have, and I hope I never have to go through with that myself, but good luck to you!

I have not had it, but i watched my beloved son go threw it He did great with it, but then things when wrong and he passed away, have also been with my girlfriend ( classmate) go through it, along with a few more friends. they have all passed. It was so awful for some of them. I think I will do as my mother did and just pass on it.  My mother was so brave and sweet as she went on with her life. We took her places and she got to see all of her family and then just passed quitely and went to be with our Lord on high. Not a day goes by that I don't miss her.
