I think prostitution and marijuana should be legalized!

I don't know if I agree or disagree this this statement. I work for a court and see a lot woman selling themselves and even men too! You have gay people and transvestites that sell themselves as well. I personally think it's degrading, but who am I to say what you can or cannot do with your body except for the law! As for marijuana, medicinal use would be the only exception. I don't think just anyone should get their hands on it because of how it totally makes one incoherent. What's the difference between driving while intoxicated with liquor in your system than driving with marijuana in your system? Drinking is legal and if marijuana becomes legal, more people will think it's ok to drive while doing it. Just my opinion...

I agree. It's a man's decision to do what he wants to do with his own body (yes, there are male prostitutes) and it's a woman's decision on what she wants to do with her body. If a man or woman chooses to provide a "bodily service" they should be free to do so with legal repercussions just as a "customer" should be free to make the "purchase" without legal repercussions. Although I do think some sort of regulatory entity should be involved to help ensure the safety of 'buyers' and 'sellers.' If they can do that in the *bleep* industry, it can be done the same for prostitution because really the two are very similar. I also agree with the legalization of the marijuana (and hemp) industry. There is no acceptable, justifiable, solid, unbiased reason for the vilification and illegality of cannabis. None. Period. No exceptions.

I DO believe that a woman has the choice to do whatever she wants with her own body. I may not agree with her choice of action, but if I disapprove and have the ability to impact what and how she does her body, then that creates a slippery slope to where she would be able to determine what I do with mine. I do know that there is clearly a market for this sort of service, and there always has been. The same thing with Mary Jane. If these people aren't harming anyone but themselves then I will not pose as the moral authority.

At one time I likely would have disagreed with prostitution being legal but I am much less conservative than I was at one time.  As far as marijuana I have never had a problem with that and feel it is a natural substance and can be very assistive medically.

Yes I believe prostitution should be legalized because it will make it safer for all men and women. Also it will help because they will have to pay taxes on the money they make. So as long as it has to be around why not care about the people who are involved and make it legal.  As far as marijuana as long as it is by prescription for medical reasons it should be legal.

I agree, Jedi Johnnie.  And if both were made legal, more and more people are going to get involved, including those who don't now because it is illegal in their state.  It seems we are not so gradually sliding back into the era of the depravity of societies like ancient Rome and others.  Next we will be throwing Christians to the lions.  No, wait, I think some people already do that.

Marijuana is now legal in Colorado and they have a total mess on their hands but the people selling it are making money hand over fist so it's good for them and their employees.  I think marijuana should probably be for medicinal use only.  Another problem with it is that is so much stronger than it used to be and it's destroying people's brains.
Prostitution should probably be legalized as it is never going to go away but legalizing it may do away with a lot of the pimps which would be good.
