I only did a partial workout today for about 15 minutes
i usually do a 20-30 min workout in the morning and a 25 minute work at night.
I was rather lazy today :rainbow: :rose: :peace:

I am laying here in on a holiday, July 4th thinking, do I sleep in or get out and walk since it is a nice cool
morning. I need to sleep in since i am sleepy all the time, but i also need to do my slow walk while it is early
and cool out.

Well i think the decision is that i will get up and get my sore painful joints moving?

Are you exercising today?

Melody, I went out on a police call early this morning at 5, got back home at about 6:30 and started working on my yard. That was a good exercise this morning. You might want to alter your exercise so your joints won't hurt too much by doing some water exercise in the swimming pool.

I started exercising over 10 years ago and haven't stopped. I worked very hard for the body I have (and remember, you only get one). The first day is the hardest day. Just get up and do it, and after time, it becomes routine.

I try to walk every day.  I over done it a few days ago and have been sore and worked all weekend but I need to get back into walking.

Been trying to exercise more. I notice I will exercise for about a week and then it is like I loose my motivation or something. I am really wanting to loose a few pounds so hopefully I can keep my motivation this time and stick with it.

I am exercising my right to go back to bed and think about this post. I get all the exercise I need by pushing my luck.

I can identify.  I'm tempted to exercise my jaws on some comfort food before crawling back under the comforter.

Have a great day!

I am creating a new habit of walking so I have forced myself out of the bed today to get in my daily walk.  Walking is much easier when you have a partner.

I enjoy regular walks myself. It's a nice soothing exercise that helps body and to clear the mind. I try to walk earlier in the morning since it's so hot out myself, but sometimes that's not an option. I love walking though.

I do water aerobics at least 3 times a week.  It really helps my lumbar scoliosis. 8)

If my youngest son was able to stay by himself during the morning hours, I would love to go for a walk every morning around 6am for about 30 mins, shower and then get ready for work. He is only 7, so I guess I have a ways to go. By the time I come home I am too tired and exhausted just from the commute alone.

I have no motivation for working out right now. A few years back I lost 100 pounds and then my sister died in 2011 while on the hcg diet and I ended up gaining a lot of it back. Now I've lost weight not even trying to. I have maybe 20 pounds left to get to my goal.

I can relate to the "sore painful joints" but I also know the more you move the less pain you will have.  So go and enjoy your morning walks!  Heck, it's better than being stuck in a wheelchair!!!
