I think not making time for friends is really cheating yourself and them of important time. While family time is great and important too, friends are important too. I try to see make it a point to see my friends and keep contact with them.

I don't have a lot of friends.  The friend that I do have lives in another state which is not nearby.

I have a few long-time friends that I keep in touch with and spend time with on a regular basis. I moved out of my home state a few years ago because of re-location with my job and I sure missed my friends. I recently moved back to my home state and we picked up right where we left off; I sure do count my blessings now.

I have one girlfriend who lives far away, but we have been friends all through highschool and for 70 years. we talk on the phone and via e-mail and facebook. She and I have been through thick and thin together even though miles apart. I also have another girlfriend who is also miles away. But the same goes for her also. We are like sisters.  All of my classmates try to get together one way or another, we were all close.(small school). But I have one male friend who is very close.  again miles away. But he and hubby get along very well. As wll as his wife is close to me.  I am a veryluck lady.

I have just a few friend that I see regularly.  Well, actually one friend I see every week.  Most of my friends are my family.

This is my last year of college so i get together with my friends quite often probably about 3 to 4 times a week. We make a very hard effort to hang out.

I don't have any friends from high school that I see anymore.  Sure we promised to always remain friends, but life takes us different places, some moved away, some went to college, some got married right after school and started a family.  That's sometimes life and it happens, there are times we might bump into each other at a store, but that is less and less.  I have two best friends now that we talk every day, even if it's just to say are you ok, everything ok with your family.
