We were dry and still labeled as being in drought conditions.....until June.

So far this month we have had over 20" of rain.  We have had some flooding.  The flood waters here have traveled south and created even more flooding in communities south of here.

The weather can't make up its mind. It rains, it doesn't; it's humid, it isn't; it's really hot, it's hot. I don't like it. Hot weather is gross, but it's so much worse when it's humid! Yuck.  :(

There's been a lot of rain where I live.

I just read that with today's evening thunder extravaganza, our rain total for the month is double what our average rainfall is for a typical June.  Typically we get a little over 4 inches and we're now officially over 9 inches.

My veggie garden is loving it though.  :)

I've heard there have been a lot of river floods, too.

We've had severe pop-up thunderstorms from where it gets really hot and humid.  Suppose to have more today.  At least the 4th of July weekend is predicted to be nice and pleasant!
Have a wonderful day!
