For me i am watching the news and the thing that is on my mind is what is wrong with this world... as i am sitting here shaking my head..

At this minute I am thinking about how lucky we are to live on higher ground than much of the town.  We just had a huge rain on Sunday which has caused extensive flooding in the area.  A dam on a small lake has also burst which added to the water level.  Roadways are washed out.  The City Park is under water to the top of the Slides and Swingsets.

We watched three large round hay bales get swept away in the flood waters as the current was that quick and strong.

Right now I am thinking how nice it is to finally be summer here and I can be in shorts have the windows open at night and be warm not hoy instead of freezing cold!
