I like purple because she could grow into it, and it's a little different. We see all the time that a girl has to have pink well purple is as great as pink and it's still girlish. Hope this helps!

I would paint it lavender which is a little of both then she can decide later on what she prefers.

I agree that a combination of both colors would look great and offer a contrast. Little girls love both colors.

I agree with what others have said about including your little girl in the decision making. Even at 2, she'll be more enthusiastic about her new paint job if it's something she helped choose and really likes. If it comes down to pink or purple - I vote a soft purple color. My room has been purple since I was 11 and it's light enough that every so often it gets confused with a darker shade of pink. lol Have fun decorating!!!

Two years old, I like pink and if ypu cannot decide do them both, pink and purple looks great together.
