I love watermelons.  My biggest problem is I seem to be the only one in my family so when we buy one, it's up to me to eat all of it.  Sometimes I can, but other times it's just too much for me to eat by myself.

We have a half of watermelon in the refrigerator right now.  My hubby went to a meeting last Tuesday, which was his 54th birthday and was given a watermelon full of fruit salad.  That was the most horrible tasting salad I have eaten lately.  I took a slice of watermelon and ate it from the refrigerator. It was delicious.  ??? :bad: :rainbow: :rose:

Yummy.  Watermelon is my favorite.  I could eat it everyday. I actually love the seedless watermelon because I don't have to deal with the seeds.

Watermelon is ok but not my favorite fruit. When I do eat it I like to eat it without the seeds in it

I love watermelon. It is so juicy and fruity. However the other day I bought a whole watermelon from a supermarket near my house and the grocery store advertised the price by the pound. Now, like an idiot I didn't weight the watermelon, I just thought it would probably be about 5 dollars. When I got to the counter and the checkout operator weighed it, it was nearly 9 dollars! I felt a little bit robbed because if I had known the price up front, I wouldn't have purchased it. But as they advertised it by the pound, I didn't notice until I was at the checkout. By then I didn't want to seem petty and say I didn't want it, but I won't make that mistake again.

Watermelon is a great healthy snack.  You can create easy slices by cutting the watermelon in half and placing the pink side down and slicing side to side and then across the opposite direction.

I'm growing Sugar Babies again this year.  They're getting ready to flower and start crawling across the garden.  Nothing like fresh watermelon from the garden.  ;D
