« on: June 06, 2014, 07:42:27 am »
Do you get enough sleep at night? Last night I went to sleep and slept good
For about 3 hours, then I  got up for a moment, and and did something, then tried  to go back to
Sleep, but instanly starting worrying about something,so i could
not shut my brain down until hours later. I am at work now, but
Very tired. I am glad it is Friday.

Has this happened to you?

I love sleeping but I have never been good at it, until about 6 months ago when my doctor got me some sleeping medication. I get about 9 hours a night then.

I don't sleep well at all. I wake up and reach for my bottle of water on my nightstand through out the night. I'm very aware of if my husband gets up or if one of my daughters is up and walking around. But then I also have my Lab that may jump up on the bed during the night and lay right against me. But for some reason I very rarely even cut my light out before 12. Only if I am really exhausted.

I have trouble falling off to sleep many times, some times I will jump and wake back up....I toss and turn and fight with the covers and the pillows, but once I doze off I can sleep for a while real hard and will wake up at least 3x during the night....

I love to sleep, that is, when I am able to get it and especially when my hubby is not in the bed with me.  He snores so loudly that it takes me a while to go to sleep.  He goes to sleep early and sleeps on his back.  I try to turn him on his side so I can be comfortable and go to sleep.   :rainbow: :rose:

I've had a problem with insomnia my entire life; however, I do better with sleeping when I drink enough water and get my nutrients.

Have a great day!

I get between 4 to 6 hours a weekday, but much of this is my fault. Although I work late I also stay up late to do other things. I get a bit more rest during the weekend, but really I should be doing a better job. When I do get to bed early and wake up in between, I sometimes have trouble too.

I don't tend to sleep very well no matter how much I do during the day.I generally can olny sleep about3-4 hours at a time. I go to sleep fast but wake up about 3-4 hours later and have to get up then can't get back to sleep. I really wish I could change this pattern without medication :rainbow: :rose: :peace:

It happens to me now that I am retired but when I worked I used to exercise every night about three hours instead of watching television. That would make me tired enough to sleep the minute I hit the pillow. But now I am trying to do that again but it is harder than when I was younger.

I enjoy sleeping very much, I sometimes don't get enough sleep and sometimes I even oversleep.
