Weird Message?

I went to cash out today and i got a message saying i exeded over $600 and they are required by law to collect information about me for IRS purposes.. Is this normal? Anyone else ever have this message? Just asking because that message came up right when i clicked cash out and i wasn't sure if it was serious or something i can bypass..

  You are having a good year!  If you get over $600.00 in a calendar year they need that information to send you a 1099 at the end of the year.  Then depending on your total income you will be charged taxes on it (or not if you make a low enough amount).

it's not just fusioncash
it's any website that you use to make money..some websites count the gift cards they send out as cash
thankfully ive never had this problem ive never been able to reach that amount

I didn't know that either.  I don't think I have to worry about that, though.  I don't make that much on here or on any one site in a year's time.

I've heard that if youmake that amount it is taxable.Hope i make that much in a year but not all on the same site. Wonder if giftcards are counted as income,niot that i get many forsure.

WOW! You ARE having a very good year! I don't have any referrals that do anything so I don't have to worry about making that much in a year. I'm just thankful for the $25 I make ever month or 2. It definitely comes in handy!

Last Year I Just Made Under The $600 Mark So I Didn't Get Taxed. I Think That Will Change This Year Though
