I think you're talking about Whole Foods Market. I have never shopped at one, however, this is how I see anything.

Just because you're shopping at a healthy store or a nutrition store, it doesn't mean everything there is good for you or healthy. You have to read the ingredients on the package itself of whatever it is you're buying.

This is a mistake a lot of people make when they shop at these stores.

Where I live there's a Fresh N' Easy and it's similar to Whole Foods. In general, they have a lot more healthy versions of food and products than the average grocery store - but not a bigger selection.

Out of all the grocery stores, I like Fresh N' Easy the best for its healthy selections. I like it the least for its lack of variety.

Just my take on it all.  ;)

I've only shopped at a Whole Foods a few times, but was usually disappointed... For the most part, their prices were much more than other grocery stores, their produce was very poor quality, and for the most part they tended to cater to food fads rather than true quality products. I'd rather go to a local farmer's market than a Whole Foods store... The prices are much better, farm-fresh is usually better quality than "organic" (esp. from large organic farms from out of state), and it keeps the money more local. In fact even our regional grocery chains tend to have better quality foods at lower prices, again by being able to get their produce locally. Perhaps were I to live outside of the Midwest where it is more difficult to get farm-fresh products, then I wouldn't dislike Whole Foods as much as I do...

I refuse to shop there because they are way overpriced. I shop at local grocery stores and Sprouts and spend a LOT less money.

I've been to their stores and the products in their stores are expensive.
