What are five food dishes you can't live without?

lasagne
anything mexican
bacon and eggs
roast beef
almost any fruit

Well I'm Puerto Rican so my dishes or different from a lot of people in this site. Here is goes,

 1. Arroz con Gandules

 2. Cheerios in the Morning (yeah I know american, but just have to have it in the morning or late at night) I am American born and raised here in California.

 3. Pasteles HUM HUM HUM

 4. Chicken ( Any way that it is made )

 5. Abituelas

 OK some of these thing are in Spanish so I know you don't understand them, put there my food that I just have to have in our home.

Oh, I love all the dishes you mentioned.  I, too, have spanish in my background.  Just yesterday, my husband and I enjoyed pastels. 

Aren't the pastes so good!!! my aunt make them and I buy a dozen and I hide six and it them little by little when no one is home. Not a sharing person when it comes to pasteles.

I love these lists they are all so different. I couldn't live without : fish, pizza, pasta, salad, and meatless tacos.

The one dish I cannot eat - I would rather starve, is Trifle!

Seeing as I live the majority of my life without pretty much everything that I like to eat I think I'd survive. But a few of my favourite things are: tacos (including taco salad and other fiesta-type foods like fajitas), pizza, lasagna with garlic cheese bread, desserts, cheese.
