Limit Qualification Questions!
« on: May 22, 2014, 07:54:32 am »
Can I just sincerely request that fusioncash start requiring surveyors to limit the amount of questions used to qualify or disqualify a person.  I really don't think that it's reasonable to go through 25-30 "qualification" questions before you ever get to an actual survey.  Let's keep the questions to around 8-10.  Anyone else agree?  A surveyor should be able to get a good idea of demographics in that amount of time.  Methinks that some surveyors are trying to "sneak" actual survey questions into these so-called qualifications without actually having to pay us for it...
I know I'm not the only person who is very frustrated with this.

I agree with you that there are sometimes too many qualification questions before a survey. Furthermore, sometimes you have to go all over your screen to answer them and go on to the next question. It gets real tiring, boring and frustrating.

This is not just a Fusion Cash problem. This happens on all my sites.

When I click on a survey, I will click off  if it is certain survey sites because I know that I will be answering 20 plus questions taking a lot of time only to not qualify for the survey.

I do not think that Fusion Cash has any say in how many pre-qualifying questions a survey company asks.

I agree with you that some of the surveys are actually sneaking their questions in to the pre-qualifying questions.  I've seen it plenty of times and feel the exact same way.  I also feel that there should be certain "pay grades" for these surveys.  When you're taking a survey that consumes 30 minutes of your time, you should be getting a lot more than 50 cents for that survey.  I could name one survey company, that at times, wants to pay you 25 cents for a 30-minute long survey.  I skip over those a LOT.

I agree that at times that answering 20 or more questions only to find out you is frustrating, to say the least.

On the up side, it hasn't happened too often as I usually disqualify within the first few questions >:(

This is not an FC issue.  This is the survey companies.  They just want to ensure they are getting good answers from the specific demographics that they are looking for.  I agree with you, but it is just an inevitable part of the survey process.  Sometimes the qualifiers are intentionally repetitive just to see if you are paying attention to the questions and giving non-contradictory answers.  I know it is very frustrating, but surveys really are well worth the time.

Surveys are very frustrating, for that reason especially. Unfortunately, FC has no control over that, they just host the surveys that other companies put out. There are a few survey sites that ask the demographic questions at the end, so that you only have to answer all those questions if you qualify for the rest of the survey.

I'm in total agreement here, considering I just spent almost an hour on the Food opinion study (mine was about cereals) only to get this message at the end "Thank you for participating! Unfortunately the survey you're attempting to access has been closed or you previously participated" Now I know for sure I didn't already do it, I would have remembered it. It was on the FC survey list, and I know FC can't do anything about them not paying me this time, but I hope they can contact whoever put it on there and let them know that this is not acceptable!! I did a Restuarant (sp) study last month that was suppose to pay $3, it even said it at the end, but I never got paid for it. Sooooo frustrating to be used and abused like this!!! :)
